Icestar's ruffled white fur couldn;t hide his masculine figure and powerful muscle. The she-cat on his back looked limp and unwell. He lay down carefully, and slowly nudged the awaking queen off of him. He slithered out and licked his pelt clean and smooth. He noticed her eyes opening and her breathing sounded perfect. She was alright...for now at least. His royal blue eye switched around and he tore up an unused bed and formed it around her, cushioning it with feathers and soft moss.
Hearing a rustle, he saw the two other warriors carry in all eight kits. It seemed a mouthful, but good. Icestar twitched his nose and dipped his head toward the queen as a notification to put the kits by her belly. He studied the queen carefully, she had snow fur, Royal blue tabby markings and a white face. A soft fluffy tail and crystal yet midnight blue eye, with a sparkle. Her right eye shut off completely by a hangover of her white fur with blue tips. A star on top of a heart on her cheek. The reason I changed her name from Star, to Starheart.
Glad to have 8 new kits to the clan, I think we are all happy now. Finally our warriors can have apprentices, instead of apprentice jobs and these kits looked special, each one marked specially on their foreheads, kind of weird they all are marked specially, but Wealdclan might have their own magical cats, in which Icestar was a little thoughtful of ideas and even worries. Never has he lead magical cats, but I don't think he had to worry...did he?

The grey tom glided slowly into the nursery as the kits where still hanging from his gentle grasp. His eyes flashed from the she-cat to the other tom who helped her inside. He slowly placed the kits down next to the warmth of their mother and turned to the other tom, "Has she woken at all yet?" Eventhough he was no healer, he did feel somewhat responsible for the well-being of the other cats he had met up with. He sat down and wrapped his tail around his paws.

~Hawkmask~
Muscles rippled underneath the dusky brown pelt as he made his way into the den, setting a couple kits down gently, unhooking his teeth lightly from their scruffs. His sage eyes flashed a most vivid viridian color. The darkness of his face just made the contrast even greater with the emerald eyes.
"Is she okay?" He asked, padding forward and looking at the other toms, sniffing the air just a bit. "Oh... she'll be fine then. I think." He had not smelled any sickness of new blood, so the she-cat was going to be okay. Or so he thought, he was no expert on these sorts of things. He cleared his throat before sitting down, wrapping a dark chocolate-tipped tail over light brown paws he waited patiently. He too felt that he needed to defend and protect those he had already met.

Icestar let a curt nod to their questions, a small signal for a 'Yes, she'll be okay,'. His gaze searched the den softly and he then focused on his warriors. "You have done well for such early kitting, and near death situations. Thanks for the help you gave." His strong voice was a little warm, and he bent over looking at all the kits. Nudging them close enough to suckle at the belly. A little pawing at one another, but they seemed happy.
Starheart just silently curled up around her kits, dizzy, exhausted and definitely light headed. Not even opening her eyes she just lay there protectively around her kits. Her paws bent back a little and her fluffy tail laid gently over the hind paws. Ears twitched calmly, and sleep had drowned her out. The little kits, one by one, began to stop and find a place to curl up beside their mother.
Icestar nodded for them to leave the queen in peace for a bit. His pawsteps left little marks as he followed them out of the den, a short glance over a shoulder and he left to the Clearing.

Ghostclaw looked at the she-cat then at the tom who spoke to them. He nodded as he followed him out of the nursery, hoping that she would be ok. At least she was moving and registering that her kits were suckling her, that was a good thing. He sighed quietly and with the same almost silent motion, swiftly left the den to join the other tom, and perhaps have a short conversation with him.

~Hawkmask~
So the tom had just given them orders, meaning that he was most likely not a warrior. He could even be leader, he had that sort of commanding aura. However it was hard for Hawkmask to nudge or move at all, much less to leave. His sage green gaze travelled over the she-cat again and he made a visible effort to leave the den. However it was so hard for him. To leave a queen unattended was a little quirk of his. He always chose family over all, and this was now a family.
Despite the orders the dusky, powerful tom sat down, light brown paws setting firmly on the ground beneath him as he watched the she-cat with his light gaze. It almost seemed sorrowful. Never mind that, it was a deep, deep sorrow. He didn't make a sound, he hardly seemed to breathe and he never moved. He just watched like a guard, seeming distant at the same time. His dark, chocolate face potrayed little emotion and he seemed to wander into memories. All the time he kept his stance, like a statue, gently watching over anything that could be seen as harmful.

The she-cat just silently twitched her paws, as though a frightening dream was bothering her. At first motions of running, then fighting, then pain, and it went back to running, like a cycle. Her blue stripes slightly dimmed darker and her ears began swerving around. Nose was sniffing something out too, but what was she sniffing for? The kits wriggled under their mom, knowing her movement they just tried to get comfortable.
Her fluffy ail began to beat the earth under her and dust started puffing up. Breaths shallows, sides heaving and muzzle motioning around. An abrupt stop to it all and her eyes flung open. First in horror then shock and then disappointment, like a real dream. Suddenly the stench of blood, the same stench in her dream, filled the nursery and she let out a loud shriek only looking at her paws. In which they wore bloody, dripping, red mittens. To horrible to lick clean, yet to contaminated to clean out in water.
Looking at her kits, they wrinkled their noses and scraped their faces with their paws. They began to squirm, towards her belly to keep away from her outstretched paws. Her great eyes stood as blue discs looking right at Hawkmask. Her mouth almost open wide, and whiskers stuck to her face. Horrified, she was petrified inside her body, and watched a drop of blood hit the den floor, at the same time, a crystal tear hit it. They wouldn't mix, but made a hissing sound...

The grey tom twitched his ears and rushed in when he heard the screams of the she-cat. "Are you alright?" he asked frantically. He looked at her with brown eyes and saw the horrified look on her face. It must've been a nightmare. He padded up to her and sat next to her, careful not to hurt the kits. He gently placed his tail on her shoulder. "It's alright, everything is going to be alright now."
